Warren F. Baker is a founding partner of the firm.  He heads the firm’s corporate practice. For over 45 years clients have turned to Warren for advice and counsel in the areas of business organization, tax, real estate, zoning and land use, estate and Medicaid planning, and intellectual property and licensing matters.

Warren serves as corporate counsel to numerous business organizations of varying size and type, both profit and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to corporate counsel duties, he sits on the board of directors for a number of organizations and served as the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen of the Bustins Island Village Corporation, a Maine quasi-municipal corporation. Warren also served on the Marshfield Zoning Board of Appeals, most in the capacity as chairman, for over 18 years.

Warren’s tax practice includes tax planning, mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations, as well as representation before the Internal Revenue Service and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

Warren routinely provides bank and borrower representation and he represents clients before local zoning and land use boards in matters including but not limited to variance requests, special permits, and comprehensive permits.

His estate planning practice involves family, business and Medicaid planning.

Warren has written publications and has lectured at seminars, local colleges and law schools on topics involving taxation, business organizations and planning, estate planning and intellectual property law.
Warren and his wife Donna live in Marshfield, MA. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. Warren enjoys woodworking, antiquing, visiting his home in Maine and golf.
