Kim Kroha is an associate of the firm. Kim counsels clients in real estate, litigation, corporate law, and bankruptcy. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Florida.
Kim’s real estate practice includes zoning disputes, permitting matters including local hearings and appeals, easements, affordable housing (40B) development, and conservation approvals. She represents clients in Land Court and Superior Court, before the Housing Appeals Committee, and before local boards in the South Shore. Kim is also a volunteer member of her hometown Braintree Conservation Commission.
Kim has three years’ experience working at the state appeals courts as a law clerk for the Honorable Geraldine Hines in the Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court of Massachusetts. She represents clients on the appellate level, with cases currently pending at the Appeals Court.
During and prior to law school, Kim was real estate manager for a national real estate development firm specializing in commercial properties with primarily retail tenants. In that capacity, she handled leasing, financing acquisitions, dispositions, and insurance for the company’s 40+ nationwide sites.
At New England Law, Boston, Kim was the online editor of the New England Law Review. She also was a member of the Environmental Law Moot Court Team. She graduated summa cum laude and as valedictorian of the evening division. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Joan Feeney of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. She holds a B.S. in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, graduating magna cum laude.
Kim and her husband Bob reside in Braintree with their two young children. She enjoys triathlons, kiteboarding, and spending time with the family.
