Kim Kroha is a partner in the firm. Kim counsels clients in land use/zoning permitting and appeals, real estate, litigation, and bankruptcy. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Florida.

Kim’s real estate practice includes zoning disputes, permitting matters including local hearings and appeals, easements, affordable housing (40B) development, and conservation approvals. She represents clients in Land Court and Superior Court, before the Housing Appeals Committee, and before local boards in the South Shore.

 Kim has three years’ experience working at the state appeals courts as a law clerk for the Honorable Geraldine Hines in the Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court of Massachusetts. Her litigation practice includes appellate cases.

 During and prior to law school, Kim was real estate manager for a national real estate development firm specializing in commercial properties with primarily retail tenants. In that capacity, she handled leasing, financing acquisitions, dispositions, and insurance for the company’s 40+ nationwide sites.

At New England Law, Boston, Kim was the online editor of the New England Law Review. She also was a member of the Environmental Law Moot Court Team. She graduated summa cum laude and as valedictorian of the evening division. During law school, she interned for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. She holds a B.S. in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, graduating magna cum laude.

 Kim was named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2021 and 2022 in the Land Use category and was honored as a Top Women in Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2022. Kim is a volunteer member and Vice-Chair of her hometown Braintree Planning Board. Kim was Chair of the Braintree Chamber of Commerce from 2020 to 2022.

 Kim and her husband Bob reside in Braintree with their two children. She enjoys triathlons and spending time with the family.
