Christopher J. Sullivan

Christopher leads the firm’s Probate Practice, counseling clients across the full spectrum of probate and fiduciary matters. His practice focuses on estate and trust administration, probate litigation, contested estates, and breaches of fiduciary duty, as well as estate planning, elder law, asset protection, guardianships and conservatorships — including Rogers hearings — and adoptions.

A former clerk at the Norfolk Probate and Family Court, Christopher has long been active in the legal community. He served for more than 20 years as Chairman of the Norfolk Bench Bar Committee and currently sits on the Council of the Bar Association of Norfolk County. He is regularly appointed by the Probate Court to serve as Personal Representative, Trustee, Commissioner, Master, and Conservator.

Christopher frequently lectures at the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Probate Conference and is the author of published articles including Understanding and Using Trusts and The ABCs of Being a GAL. He also volunteers his legal services at probate courts and guardianship clinics.

A Hanover resident, Christopher is active in his community, supporting organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment, and the Hanover Youth Athletic Association.

Outside the office, he enjoys time with his family, his dogs, skiing, and yoga.
