Kevin S. Freytag is an associate of the firm. Mr. Freytag assists clients in the areas of criminal and civil litigation, including juvenile and adult criminal defense, registry of motor vehicle appeals, personal injury, residential and commercial landlord-tenant law, post-foreclosure illegal occupancy and construction law. As part of his litigation practice, Mr. Freytag has represented clients in alternative dispute resolution, including binding arbitration.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Freytag spent four and a half years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office where he prosecuted individuals charged with armed robbery, assault with intent to murder, operating under the influence of alcohol (including serious bodily injury), illegal drug possession as well as habitual criminal charges in the Norfolk County Superior Court. Mr. Freytag was also a member of the Motor Vehicle Homicide Response Team. He tried numerous bench and jury trials in the district courts involving charges such as operating under the influence of alcohol, assault and battery, larceny, breaking and entering and firearm offenses among others.

Mr. Freytag received his undergraduate degree from Stonehill College and his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. While attending law school, Mr. Freytag was a member of the National Mock Trial Competition Team and he was a 2006 New England National Trial Competition Regional Champion. Mr. Freytag also worked at the Secretary of the Commonwealth, Securities Division where he investigated securities fraud and conducted legal research regarding the Massachusetts Uniform Securities Act.

Mr. Freytag is admitted to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Quincy Bar Association, Norfolk Bar Association, Plymouth Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Freytag has served as a trial team judge for Suffolk University Law School. He is also a Board Member of the Pembroke Historical Society and a Trustee of the Friend's Meeting House in Pembroke.
