Douglas C. Purdy is Of Counsel to the firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Purdy was the Managing Partner of the law firm of Serafini, Purdy, DiNardo & Wells. For over 33 years Mr. Purdy has assisted clients in the area of commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Mr. Purdy has extensive experience as a mortgage loan conveyancer, representing many local and national banks in more than 25,000 transactions. In addition to real estate conveyancing, Mr. Purdy has conducted seminars for the South Shore Board of Realtors and has represented individuals and commercial developers before planning boards, boards of health and conservation commissions.

Mr. Purdy was one of the first issuing agents in Massachusetts for Chicago Title Insurance Company in 1976. Mr. Purdy is the past President of both the Norfolk County Bar Association and the Quincy Bar Association, is a former Director and Clerk of The Hibernia Savings Bank, a former Treasurer of the United States Naval and Shipbuilding Museum in Quincy, a Director of City Hospital of Quincy, Massachusetts, a former member of the Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Appointments.

Mr. Purdy is a graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Purdy is admitted to practice before the state courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
